Version 1.6.1 of Onyx (1.6.1-b7210) is now available.
This is a minor release which includes several improvements requested by the current users of the software. Read on for more details.
New Features, Improvements and Bug Fixes
Onyx 1.6.1 features several improvements. Here are descriptions of some of the changes:
- [ONYX-1115] - A particular instrument can now be registered for several types of physical measurement (previously an instrument could only be used for one type of measurement).
- [ONYX-1097] - It is now possible to remove (by configuration) the start/confirmation windows that are shown at the beginning/end of a stage.
- [ONYX-1098] - Now the results of a measurement are always displayed after it is completed.
- [ONYX-1099] - Navigation within stages has been improved.
- [ONYX-1102] - Standard form navigation can now be used in questionnaires.
- [ONYX-1103] - Questionnaires now include two extra buttons---for jumping to the first and last pages.
- [ONYX-1105] - The font size of the whole application can now be increased by a simple configuration change.
- [ONYX-1117] - We now support numeric answers in tabular questions.

In order to use this version of Onyx, simply refer to this new version in your POM file.

Upgrading from previous Onyx Releases
There are no configuration changes required if you are planning an upgrade from version 1.6.0.
However, migrating from an older version might require several modifications to your configuration files. Please refer to the upgrade page for more details.
